The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is responsible for reviewing requests for variances, special use permits, and interpretations of the town’s zoning laws. The board ensures that decisions are made fairly and in accordance with local regulations while considering the unique circumstances of each case. Its work helps maintain the balance between community development, property rights, and the overall vision for the Town of Byron.
The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on a case-by-case basis as applications are received. Meeting dates and times are scheduled as needed and are open to the public, providing residents the opportunity to stay informed and engaged in matters that affect local land use and zoning.
